👉2) Make it your transportation – try and plan your staycation so that your mode of transportation involves some activity on your part! Walking, hiking, cycling from place to place are all great opportunities to move more and see more!

👉3) Make it an adventure – There are so many exciting activities you can engage in outdoors that will keep your energy expenditure high and also keep things fun and provide an opportunity to try something new. Energetic activities such as surfing, climbing, swimming – there are so many ways you can take advantage of your surroundings and get some much-needed vitamin d.

👉4) Make it a family affair – Instead of basing most of your vacation in socialising around food and drink, get everyone in the family involved in being more active together. It is much more enjoyable when you do activities as a group and help keep each other accountable!
